Electrical Engineer Scottsdale, AZ Ability to Obtain a Secret Clearance We are hiring an Electrical Engineer in Scottsdale, AZ, to support advanced GPS and space systems testing, RF validation, and electrical hardware integration for mission-critical aerospace and defense programs. This role requires experience with RF test equipment, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, circuit card troubleshooting, test automation, mixed-signal analysis, and spaceflight hardware validation within secure engineering and R&D environments.

Responsibilities: Perform acceptance testing of modules and integrated systems for GPS/space programs Review and validate test procedures, hardware configurations, software tools, and test data Utilize RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc.) for validation and troubleshooting Analyze and interpret test data, ensuring accuracy and completeness Support test automation efforts, including data capture and analysis tools Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, quality, and program management Troubleshoot electrical systems and circuit card assemblies using schematics and diagnostic tools Ensure compliance with spaceflight hardware handling procedures and standards Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field 5+ years of relevant experience Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance (active clearance preferred) Preferred Qualifications: Experience with RF test equipment Spectrum Analyzer Signal Generator Familiarity with spaceflight hardware handling procedures Experience with test automation software and data acquisition/analysis tools Proficiency with electrical CAD tools and mixed-signal circuit design/analysis Strong background in: Test and troubleshooting Circuit card schematics interpretation Experience in R&D environments Concept development Modeling and prototyping Testing and validation Experience contributing to electronics design, component selection, and system architecture Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer What to Expect * Applicants selected for employment will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation, which may include education, criminal, and work history verifications.
