Job Description: 

  • Analyze and perform trend analysis on failure data collected from production testing and equipment returned to DEPOT from the field.
  • Provide support to lead specific failure related investigations – support corrective action, capture supporting technical documentation and perform verification of corrective action: integration and test, qualification, etc.
  • Perform schematic design and circuit level simulation supporting failure analysis and obsolescence related activities.
  • Examine datasheets for obsolescence or design deficiencies and provide design changes as required.
  • Participate in the Failure Review Board (FRB) to identify and prioritize customer problems.
  • Prepare Failure Analysis Reports on depot returned equipment.
  • Establish appropriate links with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering to monitor the production processes and to identify and prioritize the problems that develop in the course of production.
  • Interface with the company’s engineering staff, supplier and customer personnel on program issues of technical concern.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Qualifications:

  • To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $71,000.00 - $132,000.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including relocation stipend, 401(k), EAP, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
