About This Role

Mastercraft Electric, Inc. is seeking a qualified, organized, and motivated Service Team Assistant Project Manager/Estimator to join our growing team. This role plays a key part in supporting our Service Department by preparing estimates, coordinating projects, managing job logistics, and providing exceptional customer service. Working closely with the Service Team Manager, field electricians, subcontractors, vendors, and customers, you will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.

The ideal candidate has experience in the commercial electrical industry, along with a strong background in service estimating and project coordination. Success in this role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while building strong relationships with customers and project partners.

What We Are Looking For

  • Degree in Construction Management or related field (Preferred)
  • 3+ years of Project Management and/or estimating experience
  • Experience in the commercial electrical trade
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Bluebeam, and Accubid
  • Experience estimating and/or managing electrical service projects ranging from $1k to $500k.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Valid Driver's License


What You Will Do

  • Conduct job walks and pursue bid opportunities with both existing and new customers.
  • Prepare estimates and bid proposals for electrical service projects
  • Support the Service Team Manager by communicating project updates, issues, and urgent bid requests
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the lifecycle of projects
  • Manage project timelines, change orders, and project documentation from start to completion
  • Prepare contracts, purchase orders and return trip quotes
  • Coordinate subcontractor scheduling and jobsite logistics
  • Schedule equipment and lift rentals as needed for projects
  • Ensure project materials are ordered, available, and communicated clearly to field personnel
  • Collaborate with other estimators, project managers, and office staff to support overall department operations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
