Description:

The Electrical Foreman is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings. Must ensure that work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Electrical foreman must provide leadership and guidance to the electrical team, coordinating tasks and schedules to meet project deadlines. Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality and compliance with electrical codes and standards. Communicates effectively with Project Managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate workflow and address any issues or concerns. Mentor and train junior team members, promoting skill development and professional growth within the team. US Citizenship is required for this opportunity. Major Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of the electrical technicians and apprentices
  • Responsible for creating materials list as relevant to assigned projects
  • Plan and organize daily tasks, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to project timelines
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members
  • Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving as needed
  • Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute installations
  • Electrical Foreman will monitor project process and provide regular updates to stakeholders, addressing any deviations from the schedule or budget
Requirements:
  • Must possess Electrical Journeyman Certification or equivalent licensure required
  • Have proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within the electrical industry
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes
  • Must have previous experience in construction electrical installation
  • Must have excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
  • Must have previous experience in construction electrical installation required
  • Mut have valid driverโ€™s license, reliable transportation and good driving record in order to operate company vehicles
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment tests (background and drug screen)
  • Must be willing to work extended and varied shifts as required.
  • Must be able to climb stairs, lift. bend, kneel frequently and stand for long periods.
  • Must be able to lift up 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to provide licenses/certifications
