We are a subcontractor for Southern California's local natural gas, electric, and water utility companies. We have teamed up with these utilities to provide their customers with measures/items that we install to reduce the home's electricity, water, and natural gas usage. We are seeking a highly driven and motivated applicant to join our team. Candidates with experience working with their hands as an HVAC technician, installer, and any other related work field will be heavily considered. Experience may be substituted with experience in a technical school. As an apprentice technician, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to, arriving on time to scheduled appointments, performing all necessary installations required for all specific programs (IE: smart thermostat, duct test and seal, low flow shower heads, faucet aerators), and greeting each customer with a positive and friendly attitude. Our apprentice technicians are one of our vital positions in ensuring customer satisfaction and being an educator in supporting energy savings.
Duties/Expectations:
  • Willing to learn while working with hands and tools
  • Install all available measures for customers while at their home
  • Ensure that all measures are properly working before departing from the customer's home
  • Be willing to attend service calls as directed by our service call department
  • Attend company meetings as required
  • Be responsible for company equipment and vehicle
  • Provide top-quality customer service
  • Be comfortable with selling additional upgrades to the customer
  • Educate customers on energy savings measures
  • Being on time for scheduled appointments and meetings

Skills/Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Pass Drug and background screening
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Prior experience working as an installer or attending a technical college preferred
  • Ability to work with your hands
  • Knowledgable with basic tools and power tools
  • Bilingual a plus
