Your Impact
As an Electrical Apprentice, you will work alongside an experienced Electrician to support the maintenance and troubleshooting of commercial and industrial solar energy systems. This hands-on role offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable field experience in the renewable energy sector while learning from a seasoned professional committed to you development.
You'll assist in the safe and efficient execution of solar PV projects, ensuring the highest quality standards. Verogy is dedicated to training the next generation of Electricians in the Solar industry. This role is designed to help you progress toward licensure and a long-term career in clean energy.
Your Role:
  • Assist licensed electricians with the maintenance and repair of solar PV systems.
  • Support conduit runs, wire pulls, and terminations under supervision.
  • Prepare tools, materials, and equipment for daily tasks.
  • Learn to interpret electrical and construction drawings.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostics under the guidance of the lead electrician.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with NEC and company safety protocols.
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites.
  • Participate in job safety meetings and daily briefings.
  • Track time, materials, and tasks for documentation and reporting.
  • Remain open to learning and professional growth through hands-on experience and training opportunities.

What You'll Bring:
  • Enrollment in or completion of a certified electrical apprenticeship program is preferred.
  • 0-2 years of field experience in electrical or solar roles.
  • Interest in renewable energy and commitment to a career in the solar industry.
  • Basic understanding of electrical tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn about the National Electrical Codes (NEC).
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and desire to learn from experienced mentors.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a team setting.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and at heights.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
