Position Overview:

As a Product Application Engineer for Energy Storage Systems, you will play a critical role in supporting the development, application, and integration of energy storage solutions for various applications. Your responsibilities will include working closely with customers, internal teams, and partners to ensure the successful deployment and performance of energy storage products.


Duties and Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for leading a variety of projects and day-to-day company operations including, but not limited to:

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their energy storage needs and provide technical guidance and support.
  • Offer expertise in selecting the appropriate energy storage solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Assist customers with technical issues, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
  • Conduct product testing and validation to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct training sessions for customers and partners on the installation, operation, and maintenance of energy storage systems.
  • Product introduction and training for sales, marketing, tech support and RMA.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including application notes, user manuals, and installation guides.
  • Educate customers and internal teams on product features and best practices.
  • Work with the product development team to integrate energy storage solutions into various applications.
  • Define desired functionality and features for new product development.
  • Provide input and feedback to improve product design and performance.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and standards related to energy storage and ensure products meet these requirements.
  • Manage and oversee energy storage system projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience in product development, product management, testing or technical support in related fields is a plus.
  • Preferred knowledge and familiarity with the areas of Energy Storage Systems, Batteries, Inverters, battery chargers, IoT.
  • Self-motivated, confident, energetic, and not afraid to take risks.
  • Possesses strong presentation skills, both oral and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills with an ability to develop effective solutions and manage projects through completion.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to energy storage.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin

Physical Requirements:
  • Will sit, stand, or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift
  • Will climb stairs on an occasional basis
  • Will lift, push, or pull up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis
  • Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis
  • Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
  • May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis
