About Us

We are a full-service HVAC, building automation, chiller, and retrofit contractor with a reputation for combining high-quality consulting services with customized energy solutions. Our integrated, single-source solutions include turnkey in-house capabilities with design assistance, as well as engineering applications and automated control systems.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Read and identify mechanical equipment on floor plans. The ability to identify mechanical equipment on drawings the following: Chillers, Boilers, Pumps, AHU's, FCU's, VAV's, and EF's. Understand basic electrical control circuits including 24VAC power and controller input/outputs. Be proficient and utilize Visio and or AutoCAD. Understand simple controls networking principles. Display knowledge of controls hardware Create P&ID's based on contract drawings P&ID's Develop controls submittals with assistance from senior level application engineers. Understand simple installation methods. Ability to implementation systems graphics per project scope Create guidelines, standards and templates for typical projects. Basic knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) requirements for control system installations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent field experience. 2+ years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in applications engineering preferred. Engineering skills required include knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and computer programming. Working knowledge of at least one HVAC controls systems (preferably Delta, JCI or Andover) Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with control system architecture design, programing, or maintenance desired. EIT or desire to obtain a PE license a plus.
