About the Role
Provide power transmission application and Motion Control expertise to SEW-EURODRIVE personnel and customers for the purpose of maintaining established sales activity and increasing new sales of SEW-EURODRIVE products within the corporate guidelines. Customers are to be handled with a view toward growth and long-term relationships while maintaining a consistent and businesslike attitude.
Location: Boston, MA Area
Pay Range 85,000 to 110, 000 (Compensation will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Candidates with additional relevant degrees or certifications and extensive experience may be considered for the higher end of the salary range)
Top 5+ skills and abilities we are seeking in this Applicant:
  • Must have experience with AC variable frequency controllers and servo motor controllers.
  • Must be knowledgeable in the applications of the customers' equipment.
  • Knowledge of various types of PLCs and ability to troubleshoot and modify programs.
  • Must be able operate independently, organize workload, prioritize tasks and manage time effectively for timely accomplishment of work.
  • Must have good technical knowledge and experience with AC variable frequency controllers and servo motor controllers.

  • Provide technical, sales, commissioning and troubleshooting support for SEW-EURODRIVE personnel and customers remotely and in person.
  • Maintain and learn technical information relating to SEW-EURODRIVE products and applications to support SEW-EURODRIVE personnel and customers.
  • Create and conduct presentations for SEW-EURODRIVE personnel and customers.
  • Perform calculations, make product selections, generate quotes and provide pricing assistance to SEW-EURODRIVE personnel and customers.
  • Perform customer visits to review applications, diagnose and resolve problems at existing applications.
