Job description

Your tasks

  • Develop, tune, and release software parameters and calibrations for power window systems.
  • Ensure system performance meets customer functional expectations, vehicle integration requirements, and system robustness and quality targets.
  • Interpret and apply customer specifications and system requirements.
  • Support system-level understanding, including interfaces, constraints, and behavior.
  • Lead application compliance activities for FMVSS 118 - Power Operated Window Systems.
  • Release validated parameter sets to software development teams for integration.
  • Act as a customer-facing technical contact for issue resolution, requirement clarification, and design reviews.
  • Provide launch support, including final calibration tuning, validation and test support, and compliance and customer sign-off readiness.
  • Coordinate with internal development teams to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and successful product integration.
  • Support continuous improvement of application standards, calibration methodologies, and validation processes.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in automotive electronics or mechatronic systems is preferred.
  • Understanding of motor-driven systems and mechanical motion control.
  • Familiarity with embedded software and parameter-based calibration.
  • Familiarity with calibration and data analysis tools such as Vector CANape, vCDM, and CANoe.
  • Knowledge of automotive system integration and validation processes.
  • Experience with or exposure to FMVSS 118 or other safety-related system requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot system-level issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers, software teams, and cross-functional engineering groups.
  • Ability to support vehicle launches, testing activities, validation events, and customer-facing technical discussions.
