Position Summary
EAE USA Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Application Engineer with strong electrical industry experience to join our dynamic team. The Application Engineer will be instrumental in supporting our sales and project execution teams by providing expert technical guidance, developing tailored solutions, and ensuring the successful integration and performance of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Expertise & Solution Development:
    • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for pre-sales and post-sales activities, leveraging deep knowledge of electrical systems, components, and industry standards.
    • Analyze complex client requirements and develop innovative, practical, and cost-effective electrical solutions that incorporate EAE USA's product offerings.
    • Prepare detailed technical proposals, specifications, and submittal packages.
  • Hands-on Problem Solving & Support:
    • Provide hands-on technical support during product implementation, commissioning, and troubleshooting at client sites.
    • Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and training sessions for clients and internal teams, showcasing a practical understanding of system operation.
    • Collaborate directly with engineering, sales, and operations teams to resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Critical Thinking & Analysis:
    • Apply strong critical thinking skills to diagnose technical challenges, evaluate alternative solutions, and recommend optimal approaches.
    • Conduct detailed technical analyses, simulations, and feasibility studies to validate proposed solutions.
    • Proactively identify potential risks and limitations in proposed designs and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Customer & Internal Collaboration:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs and providing ongoing technical consultation.
    • Work closely with the sales team to articulate the technical value proposition of EAE USA's products.
    • Collaborate with the R&D and product development teams to provide valuable field feedback for continuous product improvement.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Create comprehensive technical documentation, including application notes, best practices, and user manuals.
    • Generate regular reports on project status, technical challenges, and solution performance.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5-7 years of direct experience as an Application Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar role within the electrical industry (e.g., power distribution, switchgear, control systems, industrial automation, renewable energy).
    • Proven track record of success in technical problem-solving and client support.
  • Skills:
    • Electrical Industry Expertise: In-depth understanding of electrical codes, standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE), circuit design, power electronics, and control systems.
    • Critical Thinking: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to dissect complex technical issues into manageable components.
