What You'll Do:
  • Design electrical schematics and control panels using AutoCAD.
  • Select electrical components (PLCs, sensors, motors, drives, relays, etc.) based on customer requirements and budget.
  • Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) for each machine.
  • Program PLCs to control machine operations.
  • Program HMIs so operators can run and monitor the equipment.
  • Test and troubleshoot machines before shipment.
  • Provide technical support to customers during installation or after startup.
  • Work closely with mechanical engineers, assembly technicians, and customers throughout the project.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical controls, automation, or machine design.
  • Proficient with Allen-Bradley PLC programming.
  • Experience programming HMI interfaces.
  • Experience using AutoCAD (or similar electrical design software).
  • Knowledge of electrical circuit design and control panel layouts.
  • Experience generating Bills of Materials (BOMs) and selecting electrical components.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
