Leidos is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support a government contract in the National Capital Region (NCR). The ideal candidate will have experience assembling multi-part systems with knowledge of electrical circuit design, antenna concepts, and PCB assembly, inspection, and testing. Candidate must display strong organization and communication skills to accomplish expected tasks.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the design and development of engineering solutions in support of unique and complex customer requirements.
  • Work as part of a team to assemble and produce multi-part systems at quantity to support project tasks and objectives
  • Manage inventory of components required for production tasks
  • Create, document, and communicate assembly processes and procedures.
  • Travel up to 10% of the time may be required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have an active TS/SCI w/polygraph to be considered
  • Must have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Computer Engineering or equivalent and at least 12 years of relevant experience OR a Masters and at least 10 years of experience. Additional work experience can be used in lieu of degree/combined with education.
  • Demonstrated experience producing full system assemblies or subassemblies
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting schematics and troubleshooting electrical circuits
  • Demonstrated experience designing or testing antennas
  • Demonstrated experience performing inspection of PCB assemblies
  • Demonstrated experience using metrology equipment to test PCBs or system assemblies
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and as an individualcontributor
  • Demonstrated strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, and adapt quickly to changing requirements
  • Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office applications.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Altium ECAD tool
  • Demonstrated experience assembling PCBs
  • Demonstrated experience working with microcontrollers.
