Job description

Job Summary:
Significance is a woman-owned consulting firm serving the federal government. The Computer Engineer will use Agile Scrum processes to facilitate engineering teams executing hardware and software tasks, ensuring that planned tasks are executed and completed on schedule.
Responsibilities:
• facilitate daily scrum meetings
• assist in creating and organizing backlogs to ensure planned tasks are executed and completed on schedule
• coordinate the sprint backlog scrub, sprint planning, and sprint retrospective meetings to ensure teams focus on the priority tasks to be accomplished during the sprint
• document Agile Scrum business rules to be implemented across multiple scrum teams
• facilitate the incorporation of lessons learned to ensure teams can complete more tasking efficiently
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in computer design, software development, or computer networks
• Experience with Agile Scrum
Preferred:
• Experience supporting Navy programs
• Familiarity with Navy combat systems and lifecycle support
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
