Description:
Stewart's Shops is expanding in Vermont! We are a growing convenience store chain in New York and Vermont. We are looking to expand our HVAC/R installation team. Our Facilities Team provides support to our shops, rental properties, and district staff. The right candidate will work well under pressure in a team environment and be solutions focused. A company vehicle, tools, gauges, and uniforms are provided.
Responsibilities:
• Installation and maintenance of walk-in refrigeration and HVAC units.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair self-contained refrigerated equipment.
Requirements:
• Vermont Type S C3 License.
• Refrigerant Recovery Certification required.
• Vermont Natural Gas Installer Certification or ability to acquire within six months.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in service and installation.
• Experience with HVAC systems.
• EPA Universal Certificate.
• Vocational or Tech Training preferred.
• Electric and Plumbing experience preferred.
• Must be organized, a strong communicator, self-motivated.
• Possess strong time management skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to travel to job sites - company vehicle provided.
• Monday - Friday / Rotational on call coverage.
