Gas Controls Validation Engineer /Electronic Controls Engineer

Seymour, IN(Day One Onsite)

Experience: 6–8 Years

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6–8 years of experience in Electronic Controls, Embedded Systems, Validation, or Automotive Controls.
  • Basic understanding of electronic control systems and embedded software validation.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Knowledge of CAN/J1939 communication protocols.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently after initial guidance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with LUIS Gen2/Gen3 or similar HIL/Open Loop Test Benches.
  • Exposure to Engine Controls, Genset Controls, or Off‑Highway Vehicle Controls.
  • Familiarity with ETools, CAN analyzers, or diagnostic tools.
  • Experience with Design Change Requests (DCRs) and software validation processes.
  • Knowledge of calibration development and release processes.
  • Exposure to embedded software testing and validation.
