Reports to:Sales Manager

Job Description:

  1. Sells/leases new or used automobiles, trucks and vans on premises of vehicle sales establishment.
  1. Be a product expert on current vehicles; by knowing the features and benefits of each vehicle as well as the competition.
  2. Explains features and demonstrates operation of car in showroom or on roads.
  3. Present proposal of cost per vehicle to customers.
  4. Utilizes only legal and ethical selling techniques.
  5. Ensure certifications are updated as assigned by Manufacturer.
  6. Conforms to all customer confidential information policies and laws.
  7. Meet the minimum sales requirements each month.
  8. Meet the minimum CSI requirements each month.
  9. Ensure each vehicle is properly delivered to customers.
  1. Markets his/her product to potential customers via telephone, letters and personal contact.
  1. Follow up after each sale with each customer to ensure satisfaction and potential referrals.
  1. Know and follow Car Pros sales system.
  1. Maintain all sales tracking in VinSolutions.
  1. Treats members of the public in a courteous and non-discriminatory manner, and maintains a professional demeanor while on the job. Never use profanity.
  1. Adheres to the dealershipโ€™s sexual harassment/non-discrimination policies and the other policies in the dealership handbook.
  1. Maintain ongoing compliancy with Car Pros Policies and Procedures via Compli.
