Summary: • Engineer DevOps solutions, manage Linux systems administration, and deploy cloud infrastructure using AWS and Kubernetes. • Automate processes with Terraform and Ansible, and develop in Python, Bash, and Go. • Utilize Git for version control and apply Agile methodologies. • Work with big data technologies including Hadoop, Apache Spark, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Apache Hive, Trinio, and PrestoDB, with a focus on continuous integration and software configuration management. Qualifications & Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 3+ years • Total Compensation: $222k+ yearly Job Description: • Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS. • Support development and deployment of non-cloud (Edge) infrastructure of on-premise and portable equipment. • Automate deployment processes and ensure reliability and scalability of services. • Manage and maintain Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS. • Collaborate with development teams to integrate their applications into the infrastructure. • Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and resolve issues as necessary. • Continuously improve processes and tools to ensure high availability and performance. • Stay current with new technologies and industry trends, continuously exploring new ways to improve our infrastructure. • Apply strong knowledge of Linux, including system administration and troubleshooting. • Utilize configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible. • Leverage AWS services (EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda) for infrastructure deployment and management. • Develop in programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go. • Work with Git, Flux, and other development tools. • Apply AGILE software development methodologies. • Experience with big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Hive, Drill, Impala, Trino, Presto. • Experience with containers (EKS, Diode), CI/CD, and Terraform. • Current TS/SCI with CI Polygraph level U.S. Government security clearance is required; U.S. Citizenship required. • DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications (i.e. Security+) or ability to obtain.
