Job description

El Rancho Drive-In is currently seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team.  This is an excellent career development opportunity for a hospitality and food service professional with 1 - 2 years of management experience. 

  
POSITION SUMMARY:  

As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager and/or Operations Manager with the overall operations of the locations.  As an Assistant Manager, you will perform the day to day operations of your assigned department(s) while also supervising the Attendant employees.  The departments of responsibility include the Box Office, Money Room, Concession, Customer Service, Door, and Booth.  You will be cross-trained to perform the duties in all the departments of the location as you may be expected to provide coverage for employee breaks.  

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS INCLUDE: 

  • $13.00 - $15.00 per hour, based on relevant experience to the role.

  • 401K with dollar for dollar match up to 4%.

 QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of management or supervisory experience in a customer service driven industry, preferably in restaurant and/or hospitality. 

  • Demonstrates strong customer service skills and a passion for hospitality. 

  • Ability to work with little or no supervision, manage time effectively and multi-task. 

  • Works successfully in a team environment. 

  • Perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time. 

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. 

  • Must possess a High School diploma or GED certificate. 

  • Bi-lingual a plus; Spanish preferred.
