ย 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

ยทย ย  Conduct regular EHS inspections of facility operations to ensure they meet company and regulatory compliance. Document inspections and follow up on corrective action items.

ยทย ย  Aid the site EHS function in Workerโ€™s Compensation investigations, modified duties, reporting and return-to-work programs as needed.

ยทย ย  Conduct sampling, data gathering, and analysis to support site environmental permits and regulatory obligations.

ยทย ย  Establish, coordinate and/or support actions to ensure EHS regulatory requirements are being properly managed.

ยทย ย  Assist with the development, deployment, and management of the Carlex Environmental, Health & Safety Management System (EHS-MS).

ยทย ย  Assist in providing training to team members on EHS policies, procedures, and regulations.

ยทย ย  Assist with programs to monitor physical, biological, and chemical hazards and develop action plans to mitigate associated risks.

ยทย ย  Assist with the preparation, maintenance, and updating of written safety policies and procedures.

ยทย ย  Assist with the design and development of facilities, work areas and work procedures to ensure environmental, health and safety recommendations are compliant.

ยทย ย  Aid Regional or Plant EHS Managers with all federal, state, and local regulatory agency inspections.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Associate degree in Environmental Sciences, Health & Safety, Engineering, or equivalent preferred.

Years of Experience:

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  3+ years of experience in progressive EHS career or other equivalent experience required

Other Requirements:

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Possess and maintain a valid driverโ€™s license

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Maintain punctual and consistent attendance
