Job description

Are you passionate about the beauty industry and educating others? Southern Careers Institute (SCI) is seeking an Esthetics / Esthetician Instructor to join our team in changing the way institutions approach education. Our mission at SCI is to connect employers directly to students in new and innovative ways, ensuring our graduates have the most up-to-date and in-demand skills in the job market. As an Esthetics Instructor, you will play a vital role in providing hands-on training and mentoring to our students, helping them to develop the skills necessary to succeed in this exciting and growing industry. No teaching experience is required and we will provide all tools/training needed to succeed!

Responsibilities
  • Deliver dynamic lectures and labs to students on topics related to esthetics.
  • Plan and facilitate engaging and interactive classroom activities that apply real-world scenarios to the learning process.
  • Provide ongoing assessment of student learning, adjusting instructional strategies as needed to ensure each student receives an effective and personalized learning experience.
  • Contribute to ongoing curriculum development and refinement, working collaboratively with other instructors and industry professionals to ensure we continue to offer the most relevant and up-to-date course materials.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date attendance and grade records for each student.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and licensure standards, sharing this knowledge with students as appropriate.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Must hold a current TEXAS ESTHETICIAN LICENSE.
  • 4 years or more experience in the esthetics industry.
  • Passion for mentoring and educating others.
  • No teaching experience is required and we will provide all tools/training needed to succeed.
