Job description

General Education Paraeducator

Simsbury Public Schools is seeking caring, dedicated, and student-centered individuals to join our team as a General Education Paraeducator at Squadron Line Elementary School. 

Position Details

  • Position: General  Education Paraeducator

  • Schedule: 28.75 hours per week, 185 days per year

  • Salary: $: $27.58 - $29.59 per hour (in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement)

  • Union Position

Qualifications

Candidates must:

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Be collaborative, flexible, and committed to fostering inclusive learning environments.

Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

  • Have completed at least two years of study (60 college credits) at an accredited institution of higher education; or

  • Hold an associate degree (or higher); or

  • Successfully pass the ParaPathways Assessment
