Job description

E-Logic is seeking an experienced and strategic Program Manager to support a proposed IT Finance Management and Operational Support initiative for the New York City Department of Education (NYC DOE). This position is part of a competitive proposal effort and is contingent upon contract award.


The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading large-scale IT programs, managing cross-functional teams, and supporting public sector or government clients. This role requires strong leadership, executive communication, and operational oversight capabilities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and accountable leader for the overall program
  • Lead program governance, delivery management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic oversight
  • Oversee multiple workstreams, including:
  • Strategic Planning
  • Financial Operations
  • Innovation Initiatives
  • Project Management Quality Assurance (PMQA)
  • Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of project deliverables and ongoing support services
  • Facilitate executive-level reporting and presentations for senior leadership
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate program risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with project goals and client expectations
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence across the program
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of Program Management experience supporting large-scale IT or consulting initiatives
  • Strong experience working with government, education, or public sector clients preferred
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-year programs and multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and executive presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • PMP certification or equivalent project/program management certification preferred
Preferred Skills
  • Experience managing enterprise-level operational support programs
  • Familiarity with financial management and PMQA methodologies
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and highly collaborative environments
  • Experience supporting proposal-based or contract-driven engagements is a plus


Note: This is not a fully remote position. Candidates should expect occasional travel into New York City, particularly during planning, coordination, and stakeholder alignment phases.
