What is an educational curator?

Educational curators are professionals who design, develop, and manage educational programs and resources, often within museums, cultural institutions, or educational organizations. They create engaging learning experiences by interpreting collections, organizing exhibitions, and collaborating with educators to ensure content is accessible and relevant. Educational curators also conduct outreach and may oversee workshops, lectures, or guided tours. Their goal is to promote learning and engagement for diverse audiences by connecting them with meaningful content.

How does an educational curator typically collaborate with educators and subject matter experts to develop engaging learning experiences?

Educational Curators work closely with teachers, academic specialists, and sometimes external consultants to design educational programs, exhibits, or digital content. This collaboration often involves regular meetings to align on learning objectives, content accuracy, and pedagogical strategies.
