Job Summary
This is a LTE (Limited Term Employment) position anticipated to last 12 months in length. The role requires a full-time (40 hours/week) schedule.
The eCommerce Content Designer is part of the Home & Personal Care Regional Marketing team. This role supports a portfolio of Personal Care and Home Appliance brands, including Remington, BLACK+DECKER, PowerXL, Emeril Lagasse, and George Foreman. The position partners closely with the eCommerce Content Manager, as well as global Home and Personal Care content and creative teams, to support the regional adaptation and deployment of global content while creating and modifying assets for new and existing products.
This role is critical to bringing products to life through high-quality category pages, Product Display Pages (PDPs), and educational and inspirational content hubs that support each brand's positioning. Content should be adaptable for marketplace listings, retailer websites, product feeds, and social assets. All content should be on-brand, compelling, and designed to showcase product benefits while addressing consumer needs.
Creative development may be completed using tools such as Photoshop, Canva, and CapCut, or in partnership with @mplify, the in-house creative design and video studio. As the business continues to embrace AI in the creative space, this role is expected to expand its focus on AI prompt engineering and the use of AI to accelerate and optimize creative development.
This role will work closely with regional marketing leads for each brand and commercial teams to ensure content aligns with regional requirements and is deployed on time to support local activation. The eCommerce Content Designer will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of content that meets PDP requirements and supports social engagement.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Audit current content quality for prioritized product catalogs, identify content gaps and opportunities for improved visibility or driving consumer conversion.
  • Use art working tools (Photoshop, Canva, etc.) to adapt existing assets, adding annotations or copy that ensure all available creative is made regionally appropriate.
  • Ability to work with and learn Gen AI content creation techniques.
  • Where required, brief global teams to produce further assets that support the required regional activation.
  • Ensure creative concepts and assets produced meet Brand Guidelines, Social and eComm Playbook standards.
  • Work with legal teams to ensure all content is approved for appropriate use.
  • Continually adapt assets based on learnings, data, and insights provided by the team, sharing content best practices globally.
  • Support the activation of these assets, from upload to our own website, into retailer websites or through social media activation.
  • Create scroll stopping social media content to support our key channels (including Instagram, YouTube and TikTok) and to meet deadlines.

Education and Experience Profile
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and graphic design experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in content creation
  • 2+ years of experience using design and artwork tools, such as Photoshop, Canva, or similar platforms
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of creative tools such as Photoshop, Canva, and CapCut
  • Excellent planning, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to research emerging trends and translate insights into fresh, effective creative concepts
  • Demonstrated experience with digital design and UX/UI best practices; portfolio of work preferred, including PDP assets where applicable
  • Creative thinker with a collaborative, solution-oriented approach
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Required Skills
  • Experience using AI tools and models to support content creation, including copy, image, and video development
  • Familiarity with PIM/DAM or asset management tools used to locate and manage raw creative assets
  • Experience briefing internal creative teams or external agencies on required content assets
  • Hands-on experience creating photo and video content for websites and social channels in a commercial environment, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
  • Practical understanding of channel-specific content requirements, with the ability to adapt content based on performance data and insights
