Job description

INTERN @ SPACEWORKS


At SpaceWorks Enterprises, we specialize in next-generation high-speed flight systems, human and robotic spacecraft, as well as entry, descent & landing technologies. Our core competencies include conducting preliminary design of aerospace concepts, performing detailed multidisciplinary engineering analysis, developing commercial aerospace software, prototyping spacecraft hardware components, and conducting market and economic research within the aerospace industry. We serve clients from the Department of Defense, NASA, and the commercial space sector. 


Position Overview:

SpaceWorks is seeking a creative and tech-savvy software sales Intern for Spring 2027 (January - April). This role involves crafting compelling narratives around our aerospace engineering software to effectively engage our customers. You will play a key role in developing content that will showcase our innovative products. Given the nature of our work, US Person status is required. The position is located 100% onsite at our Atlanta, GA office and is a seasonal, full-time (hourly) position.

A DAY IN THE LIFE


  • Creative Storytelling: Gain a deep understanding of our aerospace software products to craft meaningful narratives that resonate with our target audience.
  • Promotional and Educational Content: Execute a strategy for developing promotional and tutorial content made for technical experts who will use our aerospace software products including trajectory flight simulation & optimization, hypersonic propulsion system design, liquid rocket engine design, and high-fidelity computational fluid dynamics.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, studios, and engineering teams to bring your creative vision to life, creating impactful and lasting promotional and informative content.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR


  • Currently pursuing a degree (BS or MS) in Engineering, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or related field
  • Seeking a candidate with some engineering understanding.
  • Experience crafting marketing narratives for niche products, particularly in technical fields.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a knack for simplifying complex concepts.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Windows operating systems.
  • Must be available for 40 hours per week during Fall 2026 (August - November).
  • US Person Requirement: Must be a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident due to the nature of our work.
  • Onsite Requirement: This internship is 100% onsite in Atlanta, GA.
