Job description

Seeking an experienced content leader to develop and drive private markets educational content strategy, private markets educational content programming for Nuveen's global wealth business. This role offers the opportunity to shape how advisors and investors understand and engage with private markets investments through thoughtful, impactful educational content and sophisticated digital experiences that guide meaningful learning journeys. It requires a talented content developer who can translate sophisticated thematic and investment concepts into compelling, accessible content that educates and engages financial advisors and investors. The ideal candidate combines private markets knowledge and exceptional writing skills with digital journey design, understanding how to guide audiences through learning experiences across interconnected touchpoints and content formats.


Key Responsibilities and Duties

Content Strategy & Development

  • Design and execute a comprehensive private markets educational content strategy for financial advisors and end-investors that is innovative, audience-centric, and consumable across digital and print mediums
  • Translate complex investment concepts, portfolio strategy insights and economic themes into clear, engaging narratives appropriate for diverse audiences
  • Create non-product investment, asset class and thematic educational content, for financial advisors focused on key private markets opportunities and trends, common challenges and how to address, and the role and benefits of alternative investments in diversified portfolios
  • Develop consumable investor content that helps advisors articulate the value proposition of private markets to clients and prospects
  • Incorporate and utilize AI -- combined with other resources -- to produce and enhance content for a variety of media and audiences with rapid speed-to-market

Content Creation & Execution

  • Write, edit, and guide execution of multi-format private markets content for financial advisors including articles, webinar scripts and presentations, video content, listicles, infographics, and advisor guides
  • Collaborate with investment professionals and portfolio strategists to ensure technical accuracy while maintaining accessibility and engagement
  • Develop a suite of short-form investor content structured to empower financial advisors to successfully engage clients in specific private markets conversations
  • Build and collaboratively manage content matrices that map educational topics to audience needs, journey stages, distribution channels, and business priorities
  • Assume an omnichannel approach to content creation while maintaining consistent messaging and journey coherence

Digital Journey Design & Orchestration

  • With collaboration partners, architect end-to-end digital private markets learning journeys that utilize content in multiple formats to guide advisors from awareness through education to implementation, understanding how different content assets work together to advance knowledge and action
  • Map content sequencing and progression logic-understanding user experience principles and how to structure digital properties that encourage exploration and return visits
  • Collaborate on conversion pathways that guide advisors through educational milestones while identifying opportunities for deeper engagement

Advisor & Client Engagement

  • Partner with marketing, portfolio strategy and distribution teams to understand content needs and respond with relevant educational solutions and journey activations
  • Create journey-based materials that support the advisor progression from awareness to understanding to implementation
  • Develop educational resources that enable advisors to have more informed conversations with investors about private markets

Educational Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred

Work Experience

  • 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred

Anticipated Posting End Date:

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
