Job description

Lionsgate Academy's mission is designed to educate students living with Autism and other learning differences and is seeking a mission-driven Special Education Programs Supervisor to lead our Center Based program. Our school is built on a foundation of inclusion, respect, and customized learning - and we need a leader ready to continue our commitment to student-centered excellence.
Salary range: $55,000-$75,000 (197 duty days)
Benefits: full benefit options including medical, vision, disability, HSA, FSA, 403b and free dental, as well as 96 hours of PTO
Location: Shoreview, Minnesota
What You'll Do:
  • Provide leadership and oversight to high-needs, center-based program
  • Actively coach and supervise 9 licensed staff and a Paraprofessional Supervisor
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and deliver behavioral and academic/functional programming
  • Support students with significant cognitive disabilities in accessing education in the least restrictive environment
  • A partner and visible presence for students, staff, and families

What You'll Bring:
  • Current Minnesota teaching license
  • 5 or more years working in Special Education including working with students with autism and developmental cognitive (DCD) delays

  • Preferred: 2 years or more as a Supervisor, instructional coach/mentor or informal Leader
