Our platform uses agentic AI systems to automate investigation, response, and security workflows, enabling security teams and service providers to operate with greater speed, scale, and intelligence. 7AI works with Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs), Managed Detection and Response providers (MDRs), Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and System Integrators (SIs) to help them modernize their SOC operations and deliver next-generation AI-powered security services.

We are expanding our sales team with experienced cybersecurity sellers who understand the operational realities of managed security services and large security delivery organizations, and who can help bring AI-native security operations to the service provider and integrator market. Role Overview 7AI is seeking a highly skilled AI Sales Engineer โ€“ Service Providers to drive revenue and technical success within the MSSP, MDR, MSP, and System Integrator ecosystem. This hybrid role combines deep technical expertise with strategic sales execution, focused on helping service providers transform their security operations using agentic AI.

This individual will partner closely with Account Executives, customers, and internal teams to demonstrate how Seven AI enables scalable, automated, and efficient security operations. The ideal candidate understands both the business and operational challenges of service providers and can translate technical capabilities into measurable customer outcomes. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role responsible for influencing technical decisions, accelerating sales cycles, and ensuring successful adoption of Seven AI within complex security environments.

Key Responsibilities Partner with Account Executives to drive the full sales cycle as the technical lead for MSSP, MDR, MSP, and System Integrator opportunities. Deliver compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proofโ€ofโ€value engagements tailored to service provider use cases. Translate customer requirements into solutions aligned with SOC workflows and managed security service delivery models.

Articulate how agentic AI enables autonomous investigation, response, and workflow automation within security operations. Engage with CISOs, Heads of Security Operations, SOC Directors, detection engineers, and managed service leadership as a trusted technical advisor. Position Seven AI within existing security architectures (SIEM, SOAR, XDR, EDR) and provide integration and deployment guidance, including multiโ€tenant environments.

Support pipeline development through technical discovery, validation, and alignment, helping advance and deโ€risk opportunities. Drive technical win strategies in complex, multiโ€stakeholder sales cycles and remove blockers during lateโ€stage deals. Lead proofโ€ofโ€concept (POC) and pilot engagements, defining success criteria and demonstrating measurable operational value.

Provide field feedback to product, engineering, and marketing teams to refine positioning and improve service provider outcomes. Required Experience 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a combination of sales engineering, solutions engineering, or technical preโ€sales roles. Experience working with or selling into MSSP, MDR, MSP, or System Integrator organizations.

Strong understanding of security operations, SOC workflows, and detection and response processes. Handsโ€on familiarity with security technologies such as SIEM, SOAR, XDR, EDR, and related platforms. Proven ability to support complex enterprise sales cycles.

Ability to clearly communicate the value of AIโ€driven automation to both technical and executive audiences. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting or selling security operations platforms or automation technologies. Familiarity with agentic AI concepts and autonomous systems in cybersecurity.

Experience designing or supporting multiโ€tenant environments typical of service providers. Background working in or closely with SOC teams. Strong presentation and storytelling skills for technical audiences.
