Product Manager -Enterprise Data Management- Financial Services
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years' experience in the Financial Services industry with proven expertise in implementing Enterprise Data Management solutions. The candidate is expected to play a key role in bringing our new EDM solution into the enterprise, acting as both strategist and firsthand integrator. As a business consultant, the candidate must possess deep domain knowledge across reference data, market data, product/fund/legal entity data, and trade data. They should have "been there and done that"-with practical experience integrating this platform into enterprise applications and overcoming real-world implementation challenges
About the role:
As aPrincipal, you will lead and manage delivery of engagements, collaborating closely with senior client managers. You will contribute to the firm's development by guiding and mentoring teams and sharing knowledge. You will be recognized as an expert in your respective domain and contribute to advancing thought leadership in the industry.
Responsibilities
EDM Implementation & Delivery
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of the S&P Global EDM suite
  • Function as strategic advisor and firsthand resource to integrate EDM with downstream systems and upstream data feeds (including vendor systems, internal trading/portfolio/CRM platforms, and reporting solutions)
  • Design comprehensive data ingestion, validation, transformation, enrichment, and reconciliation workflows catering to:
    • Reference data (securities, parties, pricing, rates/curves, legal entities, corporate actions)
    • Market data (pricing, curves, vendor feeds)
    • Product and fund data (metadata, hierarchy, product lifecycles)
    • Trade and position data (IBOR, trade hub reconciliation)
  • Define and enforce data governance, stewardship, and lineage practices to ensure traceability, auditability, and compliance
  • Mentor junior EDM consultants and contribute to implementation best practices, continuous improvement, and product roadmap feedback.

Practice Development
  • Share insights on emerging Capital Markets best practices and help develop service offerings
  • Work with other practice members to support Infosys Consulting thought leadership activities and develop innovative assets, including differentiated points of view and methodologies
  • Build social networks that enable knowledge and information flow and stay abreast of developments in wealth management and financial advisory expertise areas
  • Prepare thought papers and participate in industry conferences and forums
  • Contribute to practice growth and vitality through roles such as recruitment, training and retention

People Management
  • Coach and develop junior team members to deliver quality results and promote professional development
  • Participate in and contribute to practice training activities

Business Development
  • Lead sales pursuits and business development activities ranging from creation of client proposals to formulating commercial constructs / contracts
  • Develop and build relationships at senior management levels
  • Formulate and present Infosys Consulting propositions and service offerings

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience with at least 3-5 years of management consulting experience at a top-tier consulting firm
  • Demonstrated ability in defining, mobilizing and delivering complex change programs in Capital markets industry (Investment Bank, Broker-Dealer, Wealth Management, Asset Management)
  • Direct, hands-on experience with Gresham Opus EDM (formerly S&P Global EDM / Markit EDM) (configuration, workflow design, and/or business analysis in the platform) and Gresham Asset Control
  • Strong domain expertise in Reference Data Management, Security Master, and Market Data across asset classes
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing and documenting complex data derivation rules, data lineage, and source-to-target mappings at scale
  • Experience working on large-scale data migration, data platform modernization, or system replacement programs
  • Proficiency in producing consulting-grade deliverables: BRDs, functional specs, data dictionaries, process flows, and decision logs
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to challenge legacy thinking while maintaining collaborative working relationships
  • Effective communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging at both working and senior leadership levels
  • Experience delivering in Agile / hybrid delivery environments

Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree
  • Demonstrated experience in working on advisory business, technology or operational change initiatives in the capital markets industry, working either directly with a financial services firm or with a reputed professional services firm
  • Good depth of knowledge and implementation experience in front-to-back-office processes across product areas and leading products in this space
  • Previous consulting and pre-sales experience: leading demos, POCs, RFP engagements, solutioning
  • Experience of leading programs where stakeholder engagement is a key requisite to achieving successful program/project delivery
  • Proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines and challenging constraints
  • Ability to collaborate within the firm and leverage existing resources
  • Demonstrate thought leadership, ability to conceptualize and drive new solution / service offerings and take them to market

  • Los Angeles. Hybrid Working model with 2-3 days in-person depending on client policies.
