(attachments must be forwarded with your on-line application prior to the posting close date) FMCSA Clearinghouse Registration Notice to Applicants: The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has created the Commercial Driver's License Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse (Clearinghouse). The Clearinghouse is a secure, online database that contains real-time information about CDL drivers with drug or alcohol program violations in accordance with 49 CFR Part 382. It is effective as of January 6, 2020. Prior to hiring an individual to perform safety-sensitive duties, San Marcos Unified School District is required to conduct a full query of the individual to check whether the Clearinghouse contains any information prohibiting the individual from performing safety-sensitive duties. An individual must provide consent for San Marcos Unified School District to perform a full query. An individual may only provide consent through the Clearinghouse. Individuals are therefore required to be registered with the Clearinghouse. For more information on the Clearinghouse or to register, please visit clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov.
