Job Summary
Ventura Unified School District (VUSD) is the third-largest school district in Ventura County and is located along the California coastline, approximately 63 miles northwest of Los Angeles. More than 13,000 students in transitional kindergarten through grade twelve receive a rigorous, standards-based education from dedicated and highly qualified educators. The district includes 17 elementary schools, 4 middle schools, and 5 high schools.
Substitute Administrators serve on an on-call basis to provide administrative support at school sites and district locations as needed. Assignments may be for a single day or for an extended period, depending on district needs. Substitute Administrators are temporary employees and are compensated only for the days they work
