This role sits at the intersection of journalism, technology, and data, and is ideal for someone passionate about U.S. and global news, editorial standards, and content moderation.

  • Tag, categorize, and maintain content within CMS tools to ensure clean taxonomy and improved discoverability
  • Stay up to date with breaking news cycles across the U.S. and internationally to make timely and informed moderation decisions
  • Apply strong editorial judgment to uphold journalistic standards, ethics, and consistency across all content

The experience we need:

  • 2+ years of experience in digital news, editorial, or content moderation roles
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. and international news, including politics, business, entertainment, and current affairs
  • Deep familiarity with major newsmakers, events, and evolving news cycles
  • Excellent research, fact-checking, and analytical skills with a high attention to detail
  • Exceptional command of English (native or near-native), including grammar, tone, and editorial accuracy
  • Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS) is a strong plus
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
  • Solid understanding of journalism ethics, editorial standards, and responsible content practices
