Job description

The Digital Website Publisher will ensure all web content and digital assets are managed, published, and optimized to deliver an accurate, engaging, and accessible user experience across all platforms. This role is responsible for overseeing daily website operations, maintaining brand and accessibility standards, and driving continuous improvements through analytics, SEO, and emerging digital trends. Acting as a subject matter expert for CMS publishing and digital best practices, the Publisher will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic campaigns, personalization initiatives, and the organization's digital transformation goals.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Website Operations & Content Management
  • Oversee daily website operations, ensuring all content is accurate, up to date, and fully functional.
  • Manage and publish content updates across landing pages, campaign pages, microsites, and other digital assets. Ensuring content accuracy and timely publication.
  • Ensure web content aligns with brand guidelines, tone of voice, accessibility standards, and organizational priorities, awareness around WCAG 2.1 requirements and web best practices.
  • Maintain and update evergreen content to ensure long-term value and SEO relevance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, third party vendors, IT) to ensure content supports ongoing campaigns, personalization initiatives, and strategic goals.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for content management systems (CMS) - creating, editing, troubleshooting, and training others on publishing best practices.
  • Document publishing standards, workflows, and best practices to improve team efficiency and knowledge sharing.
Web Performance, Analytics & Optimization
  • Analyze user behavior, traffic patterns, and site performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
  • Generate regular reports with actionable insights to improve user engagement, navigation, and conversion rates.
  • Lead A/B and multivariate testing on landing pages, calls-to-action, and other elements to optimize user experience and conversions.
  • Collaborate with the Technology and UX teams to enhance website usability, page load speed, mobile responsiveness, and accessibility compliance (e.g., WCAG standards).
  • Recommend and implement enhancements based on performance data and industry best practices.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & AI Discovery
  • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify content opportunities and gaps.
  • Implement on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies to improve search visibility and rankings.
  • Monitor SEO and search trends to adapt content and metadata accordingly.
  • Provide regular recommendations for content optimization based on search analytics, user intent, and engagement data.
  • Stay informed about evolving content discovery channels - including AI-driven search platforms and interfaces and how they interpret and surface organizational content.
Innovation, Research & Digital Experience Development
  • Monitor emerging trends in web publishing, content personalization, and digital engagement.
  • Pilot and test innovative digital experiences that enhance supporter engagement, storytelling, and fundraising impact.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prototype and evaluate new tools, formats, and technologies prior to full-scale rollout.
  • Explore opportunities for personalized content delivery tailored to audience segments using data-driven insights.
  • Contribute to the organization's digital transformation by recommending scalable, sustainable improvements in publishing workflows and content strategy.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Web Design/Development, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing websites, digital content, or online user experience.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, web analytics, and UX principles.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS), preferably Adobe Experience Manager or similar platforms.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into practical improvements.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing, conversion optimization, and digital design best practices.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills.

This role follows our inoffice work model and requires employees to be onsite four days per week to support collaboration and business needs.

This opportunity is for an existing vacancy with the company. Theanticipatedbase salary range for this position is$55,000to $95,000. Exactsalary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a bonus program.
