Job description

TLF’s Photographer & Videographer/Editor will drive brand awareness, consumer engagement, sales, and social channel growth and engagement via the content they produce for our various mediums and business requirements. You will use your expert knowledge and experience in planning, storyboarding, pre and post-production, photography, videography, and editing to develop unique global content for all of TLF's multi-media marketing, social media channels, branding, advertising, website (www.TLFapparel.com), and TLF's custom app.
You will leverage best practices to efficiently plan, prepare, and manage all areas of pre and post-production processes while efficiently optimizing each phase of the various processes to deliver high-volume short and long-format videos and images that are iconic and on-brand and meet the sales and marketing expectations of the company through our trackable performance metrics (such as directly increasing sales, brand awareness, reach; in addition to, website, app, and social traffic, KPI's, engagement and creating positive consumer sediment about the brand, products, our content, and messaging).

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to the below):

  • Utilize your creative ability to produce one-of-a-kind videos and images for TLF products, social media, advertising, and branding, utilizing established video producing, shooting, and post-production editing skills to produce high-volume short and long-form videos across all channels
  • Responsible for producing videos that will resonate with our audience and drive a high level of brand and product interest, views, and engagement
  • Work closely with the Production Creative Team, CEO, and Brand Manager on video concepts, style, and strategy.
  • Skilled and highly proficient with on-trend social media shooting styles and editing for all social media platforms, color grading techniques, traditions, and post-production styling, storytelling, and after-effects for different social channels and various video and image mediums.
  • Highly proficient in producing and shooting content that resonates with our target demographic (18 to 40 -year-old male and female fitness and fashion enthusiasts) and is on-trend for current shooting and editing styles
  • This individual should be used to a fast-paced environment from pre-production (i.e. talent and location sourcing, storyboarding, planning, permitting, budgeting) to post-production (i.e. shooting, editing, after effects, integrating licensable music on all videos, and on-trend transitions) while keeping the energy and approach to each video highly captivating to ensure they receive a full play through with the consumer at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of photography, videography, and editing work experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of photography, videography, and editing work experience in apparel/fashion and/or fitness
  • BA Degree from an accredited institution, with an emphasis on videography and/or editing (or an equivalent field)
  • Highly proficient in audio and music editing
  • Highly proficient with studio and on-set lighting setup and design
  • Highly proficient in utilizing various shooting angles and various shooting styles
  • Highly proficient in the use of various lenses
  • Highly proficient with a variety of cameras, mics, lighting, and sound
  • Utilize knowledge of compression to optimize all video file sizes, quality, and loading speeds
  • Understanding of multiple video output formats, codecs, and compression rates
  • Ability to use colors, shadows, shades, light, and distance to compose premium video content
  • Ability to color grade and manipulate raw footage
  • Ability to multitask, work in an extremely busy environment, and remain positive and productive
  • Self-starter; effective in managing projects from the ground up
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
  • Passion towards athletics and training, preferably as an enthusiast and participant
  • Confidence in communicating comfortably / outgoing personality
  • Strong knowledge of the athletic apparel/fitness industry and video trends in the marketplace
