Job Title: Machinist (Mill & Lathe)

Location: Tulsa, OK

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay: $23–$26 per hour (DOE) | Occasional Overtime Available

Job Type: Full-Time | Hourly | Non-Exempt

Position Overview

Trinity Employment Specialists is seeking an experienced Machinist for a reputable precision manufacturing client in Tulsa. This position requires strong mill and lathe experience, the ability to edit programs, and full machine setup capability. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of producing high-quality parts in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate manual and/or CNC mills and lathes
  • Edit machine programs as needed to ensure part accuracy and efficiency
  • Perform full machine setups, including tooling and offsets
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications and tolerances
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow safety procedures and company quality standards
Qualifications
  • Proven mill and lathe experience
  • Ability to edit machining programs
  • Experience performing complete machine setups independently
  • Strong blueprint reading skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Must provide own machinist tools
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
  • Ability to safely operate industrial machinery

* Calculate dimensions or tolerances, using instruments, such as micrometers or vernier calipers.
* Measure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments, such as micrometers.
* Machine parts to specifications, using machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.
* Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations.
