Job description

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Integration Suite Developer to design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise integrations using SAP Integration Suite on SAP BTP.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), iFlows, mappings, transformations, APIs, adapters, exception handling, testing, and production support.
Location: Minneapolis, MN - Day 1 Onsite
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Key Responsibilities
SAP Integration Development
  • Develop and maintain integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite.
  • Design and develop iFlows based on technical specifications and integration requirements.
  • Configure integration components such as Routers, Filters, Splitters, Multicast, Content Modifiers, Request-Reply, and Exception Subprocesses.
  • Develop reusable integration components and templates.
  • Implement synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns.
  • Follow integration development standards and best practices.

SAP Cloud Integration (CPI)
  • Develop and configure CPI integration flows.
  • Implement message transformation and routing logic.
  • Develop mappings using Message Mapping, XSLT, and Groovy.
  • Work with Content Modifier, Router, Filter, Splitter, Gather, Multicast, and other CPI components.
  • Configure externalized parameters and secure credentials.
  • Work with Data Store and JMS capabilities where required.

Connectivity & Adapters
Experience with SAP Integration Suite adapters, including:
  • HTTP/HTTPS
  • REST/SOAP
  • OData
  • SFTP/FTP
  • IDoc/RFC
  • JDBC
  • AS2
  • Mail
  • JMS/AMQP

Build integrations between SAP systems and external applications, databases, SaaS platforms, and business partners.
SAP Integration
  • Develop integrations with SAP applications such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, SAP Concur, SAP EWM, and SAP TM.
  • Good understanding of IDoc, BAPI/RFC, OData, SOAP, and REST interfaces.

API Development
  • Develop and consume REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Support API configuration and lifecycle management using SAP API Management.
  • Implement API authentication and security mechanisms.
  • Support API testing and troubleshooting.

Data Transformation
  • Develop source-to-target mappings.
  • Transform data between XML, JSON, CSV, IDoc, EDI, and other formats.
  • Develop Groovy scripts for complex transformation and validation.
  • Implement lookup and value-mapping requirements.
  • Perform data validation and enrichment.

B2B / EDI Integration
  • Develop and support B2B integrations.
  • Work with EDI formats such as X12 and EDIFACT.
  • Support partner-specific mappings and transformations.
  • Develop integrations using SFTP, AS2, and other partner connectivity mechanisms.
  • Support partner testing and onboarding activities.

Error Handling & Monitoring
  • Implement exception-handling mechanisms within iFlows.
  • Configure retry and error-handling processes.
  • Monitor integration flows and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Analyze integration failures and implement appropriate corrective actions.

Required Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite on SAP BTP
  • Extensive experience with SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) and iFlow development
  • Proficiency in Groovy, XSLT, and Message Mapping
  • Experience with REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC/BAPI, SFTP, FTP, JDBC, AS2, JMS/AMQP
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC integrations
  • Experience with SAP API Management
  • Experience with B2B/EDI integrations, including X12 and EDIFACT

  • Experience working with both SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work Day 1 onsite in Minneapolis, MN.
