Job Summary:
Keylent Inc is seeking a Gentran EDI Developer/Analyst responsible for end-to-end implementation of EDI applications. The role involves translating business requirements into technical specifications and supporting EDI and eCommerce applications.
Responsibilities:
• This person has primary responsibility for end-to-end implementation of EDI applications, including translation of business requirements in technical specifications, EDI configuration and mappings.
• Thorough understanding of eCommerce concepts and standards including, but not limited to, the following: transaction, trading partner, AS2, VAN (Value Added Network), EDI standards (e.g., X.12, UCS, EDIFACT, etc.), functional acknowledgment, application interface, UCC (Uniform Code Council), trading partner agreement, mapping, translation, document formatting standards (e.g., XML, HTML, HTML, etc.), etc. required to provide support of EDI and eCommerce control applications, business applications, and EDI and communications.
• Understanding of UNIX environment, commands and scripting language needed to provide support of EDI and eCommerce applications.
• Thorough understanding of Sterling Gentran
• Knowledge and SAP - PI/PO EDI mapping and translation software is a plus
• Work on implementing backlog of Business User Requirements for EDI coming from the users.

• Installation, System Configuration.
• Requirement gathering, Preparing Technical Specifications, Mapping, Implementation
• Understanding of UNIX environment, commands and scripting language
• Knowledge of SAP - PI/PO EDI mapping
• Thorough understanding of eCommerce concepts and standards including transaction, trading partner, AS2, VAN (Value Added Network), EDI standards (e.g., X.12, UCS, EDIFACT, etc.), functional acknowledgment, application interface, UCC (Uniform Code Council), trading partner agreement, mapping, translation, document formatting standards (e.g., XML, HTML, HTML, etc.)
• Thorough understanding of Sterling Gentran
• 3-8 Years experience
