Our client is seeking a strategic Director, Enterprise Applications Systems to lead enterprise financial systems, ERP strategy, and reporting initiatives. This leader will own the implementation, optimization, and support of financial applications, with a strong focus on Workday Financials, REIT accounting, GAAP compliance, property accounting, and enterprise reporting. The ideal candidate combines deep financial systems expertise with strong leadership skills to drive system transformation, improve operational efficiency, strengthen financial visibility, and support long-term business growth. This role is on-site in Las Vegas, NV or Draper, UT and a direct hire opportunity.
What You'll Do
  • Lead the strategy, roadmap, and ongoing optimization of Workday Financials and related financial applications.
  • Manage and mentor application teams, establishing priorities, performance expectations, and development plans.
  • Drive ERP implementations, upgrades, integrations, and enhancements across Finance and Accounting.
  • Partner with executive leadership, Finance, Accounting, IT, and business stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives.
  • Oversee financial system architecture, reporting platforms, and data governance initiatives.

What We're Looking For
  • 8+ years of experience in Business Systems, Applications Management, Financial Systems, ERP, or related disciplines.
  • 5+ years leading Tier 1 or Tier 2 ERP implementations and support.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience with direct reports.
  • Experience supporting financial modules including:
    • General Ledger
    • Treasury
    • Budgeting & Forecasting
    • Accounts Payable
    • Accounts Receivable
    • Procurement/Purchase Orders
    • Fixed Assets
    • Project Accounting
  • 3+ years managing system integrations, APIs, EDI, or third-party connectivity.
  • 3+ years designing reports, analytics, and business intelligence solutions.
  • 2+ years supporting banking platforms, payment processing, NACHA, positive pay, or payment gateways.
