Job description

Overview

Prime Inc. is seeking an EDI Team Lead to manage electronic data interchange (EDI) requirements across our customer base. This role serves as the primary point of contact for EDI-related questions, issues, and customer onboarding - working closely with operations and the broader EDI team to ensure accurate, timely data transmission and reporting. 

Responsibilities- Organize EDI requirements at the customer level- Review errors in transmission- Attend customer calls for service reporting, EDI changes, and/or issues- Review of customer reports for EDI scores- Review of customer reports for third-party aggregators- Audit and transmit customer accounts- Take the lead on new accounts during go-live- Work with operations to answer questions and resolve issues- Work with the EDI group as customer requirements change- Analyze raw EDI data when problems arise- Review EDI 210s when issues with credit occurSchedule Details:- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST- One weekend required every four weeks, with a half-day shift on both Saturday and Sunday- On-site training required. Upon completion of training, this position will be fully remote.- Remote work is dependent upon positive evaluationsQualifications

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Any combination of education, training, and experience providing the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Knowledge

Knowledge of trucking/transportation industry and prior customer service experience preferred.

Abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and conflict resolution skills, and the ability to execute logical decisions quickly.  Ability to multitask in dynamic, fast-paced, team oriented environment.  Good computer and keyboarding skills with the ability to accurately type at 45 WPM.  Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and the general Internet.  Require flexible schedule with the ability to work rotating weekends as necessary.

Experience, Education, and Training

Four year college degree in a business related field preferred, but not required. EDI mapping expierience is a plus, but not required. EDI programming experience is a plus, but not required. 

Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit for a large portion of the day. Also needs to be able to multitask, talk on the telephone for extended periods of time and type efficiently.

Working Environment

Primarily indoors with heating and cooling regulated in a general office environment. Surroundings can be noisy at times.
