As a remote EDI analyst, your job is to analyze, support, and maintain an electronic data interchange system. In this work from home role, you may research methods of improving the network, test proposed solutions, and fully implement them into the network once they are verified to work. Remote EDI analysts often meet with decision makers, system owners, and end users to help define goals, participate in design sessions to prototype new systems, establish the scope and parameters of system analysis to define outcome criteria, and conduct research on products to support recommendations and purchasing efforts. Since this is a work from home job, you may use virtual office and conferencing software to keep in touch with other employees.
| Aspect | Edi Analyst Remote | Edi Specialist Remote |
|---|---|---|
| Credentials | Typically requires a degree in IT, healthcare, or related field; certifications like EDI Certification or HL7 are common | Similar credentials; often holds certifications in EDI systems or healthcare data standards |
