LOCATION:                           Mound Park Upper Elementary School and Chatterton Middle School
WORK YEAR:                       2026-2027 School Year
SALARY:                               Per FEA Contract
QUALIFICATIONS:




  • Valid Michigan Secondary or Elementary Teaching Certificate required with endorsement in English as a second language (NS).
  • Experience in elementary and/or middle school classroom instruction.
  • Ability to manage time and be self-directed.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with at risk students.
  • Patience to work with diverse populations and language barriers.
  • Ability to manage time and work individually.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interpret and use data from ongoing assessments to inform instruction.
  • Participate in professional development and implement best practice.

  • Collaborate with teachers and administrators to improve student achievement in the content areas.
