Our client, a leader in the Power Engineering industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Inside Sales Engineer to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge electrical equipment and provide top-notch sales solutions.

  • Respond to customers bid requests and internal requests
  • Research on-line bid opportunities
  • Analyze and interpret electrical blueprints, specifications and addendums
  • Clarify electrical testing scope of work with customer estimators, project managers and engineers of record
  • Obtain pricing from vendors for equipment repairs, parts and other departments
  • Prepare computer-based estimates
  • Participate in bid strategy meeting as requested
  • Generate reports, project bid status, PO’s received
  • Prepare draft proposal for Outside Sales Engineer
  • Work closely with Outside Sales Engineer
  • Facilitate contract hand off to Operations and Engineering department including job assumptions


Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, with a strong background in electrical power.
  • Alternatively, experience working with electrical equipment distributors
  • Experience with a member company of the Professional Electrical Apparatus Recyclers League (PEARL) is a strong asset.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ready to work 100% on-site.
