Position Overview:

Assesses, provides and documents respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physician, according to established standards and practices. Performs tasks which require a substantial amount of scientific knowledge and technical skill.

Job Description:

EDUCATION

  • Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

  • Other: Graduate of accredited 2 year program in Respiratory Therapy or graduate of accredited 1 year program and successful completion of special skills assigned by Director of Cardiopulmonary Department.


CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

  • RRT-Registered Respiratory Therapist

  • RCP-Respiratory Care Practitioner OR CRTT-Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician

  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:

  • Familiarity with usual equipment and Therapy used in Respiratory Care.

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
