Qualifications:
Master's degree in Curriculum or School Administration and/or have a Principal License through the Ohio Department of Education (PK-6, 4-9ย and/or 5-12).

  1. Concentrated graduate coursework in the area of curriculumย and instruction.
  2. A minimum of five years' experience as a teacher or administrator.
  3. Knowledge, understanding, and experience working within the Ohio Improvement Process and best practices.
  4. Must be aware of current trends and developments in education.
  5. Must possess exemplary leadership qualities.
  6. Demonstrates an exceptional attendance record.
  7. Must be OTES 2.0 credentialed.
  8. Successful BCII and FBI background check.


Duties:
ย 

  1. In cooperation with the building principal, assist with the facilitation and implementation of the School Improvement Process.
  2. Provide and/or coordinate professional development to staff in the areas of teaching and learning as needed.
  3. Facilitate and actively participate in professional development that increasesย knowledge of best instructional practices and how to monitor student growth and teacher effectiveness.
  4. Monitor and share with building stakeholders all building academic data.
  5. Assist in determining building priorities and needs in relation to district academic and non-academic goals, initiatives and activities.
  6. Work with the Department of Curriculum & Instruction to develop, implement and evaluate the District curriculum at the PK-12 level.
  7. Monitor the implementation of the District curriculum.
  8. Actively participate in and facilitate instructional founds, providing feedback, as appropriate.
  9. Coordinate with the other PK-8 schools and high school to insure the seamless articulation of curriculum from grades PreK through 12.
  10. Assist in the administration and preparation of required school records and reports.
  11. Provide leadership for various summer and after-school programs.
  12. Assist in the organization and administration of appropriate student activities.
  13. Play a leadership role in various buildings and District committees, efforts, etc.
  14. Abide by the rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the Warren City School District Board of Education.
  15. Perform all other duties as may be assigned by theย Superintendent, Associateย Superintendent or Director of Curriculum & Instruction and/or his/her designee.


Salary:ย Salary Table C, Less than 52 weeks, 224 days annually
