Trinity Academy is searching for a Dean of Academics, Curriculum, and Instruction to serve as a senior administrator responsible for designing, implementing, and improving Trinity's K-12 academic program. This new position is designed for a "leader of leaders" who will guide teachers and build a vertically integrated curriculum that bridges the K-8 and High School programs. The ideal candidate will inspire educators, navigate the tension between rigorous college preparation and inclusive education for a variety of learners, and ensure that academic excellence is fully integrated with a biblical worldview.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • CurriculumDevelopment & Alignment: Design and update curriculum toalign with adopted standards, ensuring consistency and excellence acrossall grade levels and subject areas. Lead curriculum review cycles andadoption processes in collaboration with faculty and the Upper and LowerSchool Heads.
  • InstructionalLeadership: Promote effective and inspiring instruction bydeveloping written instructional frameworks and teaching guidelines. Equipfaculty for instruction through observation and support, while leaving theexecution of instruction and formal faculty evaluations in the hands ofthe lower and upper school heads.
  • FaithIntegration: Help teachers effectively integrate their faith anda Biblical worldview into everyday instruction across all subjects,helping to move beyond "boxed" curriculum to restore the artistry ofteaching and remind educators of their calling.
  • ProfessionalDevelopment: Plan and deliver training for faculty that mitigatesfatigue, nurtures their love of learning, and equips them to inspire alove of learning in their students. Mentor grade-level team leaders anddepartment leaders while identifying professional learning needs acrossthe organization.
  • DataAnalysis & Assessment: Utilize assessment systems and studentperformance data to assess and guide instructional improvements, andclosely monitor progress toward the school's academic goals.
  • Compliance& Standards: Ensure adherence to educational standards andwork collaboratively with accreditation team leaders to accomplish goals.

Requirements
Education and Experience
  • A bachelor's degree is required; a Master's orDoctoral degree is highly preferred.
  • Doctoral degree or work towards, is a plus.
  • Enthusiasm for K-12, Christian education, from theperspective of a parent, educator, or former student (administrative orteaching experience preferred).
  • Experience in a Christian school environment, andworking with an integrated Biblical Curriculum.
  • 5-10 years of experience in education or a relatedfield.
  • Must have previously held a School Administratorposition.
  • Experiencewith both K-8 and High School curriculum, with a strong background inChristian School curriculum and faith education.
