Job description

Summary:
The Emergency Department Nurse Manager provides leadership and oversight for daily ED operations, staffing, patient care quality, and clinical outcomes. This role works closely with hospital leadership to ensure high-quality, patient-centered emergency care while maintaining operational efficiency and regulatory compliance in a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations and staffing of the Emergency Department
• Ensure quality patient care and positive clinical outcomes
• Monitor nursing practices and maintain compliance with policies/procedures
• Support staff accountability, performance improvement, and patient safety initiatives
• Collaborate with leadership teams including Director of Emergency Services and CNO
• Maintain efficient departmental workflow and staffing coverage

Requirements:
• 3+ years recent acute care ED leadership experience required
• Charge Nurse ED experience may be considered, manager-level strongly preferred
• Graduate of accredited Nursing program
• BSN preferred or must obtain within 2 years of hire
• Active RN license or Compact RN license required
• ACLS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, and ENPC or PALS required within 90 days

Compensation:
• $44/hr – $61/hr based on leadership experience
• Sign-On Bonus: $25,000 (2-year commitment)
• Relocation Assistance: Case by case
