Business UnitWhat the Role EntailsKey Responsibilities

1. Strategic Partnerships

- Identify, negotiate, and close high-impact partnerships with creator platforms, media companies, talent agencies, production studios, and AI tool ecosystems

- Build and manage a robust pipeline of partnership opportunities across North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia

- Structure and execute co-marketing, co-distribution, and integration deals that expand WorkSolo's reach and creator base

- Own end-to-end partnership lifecycle - from prospecting and pitching to contract execution and ongoing relationship management

2. Ecosystem & Channel Development

- Develop distribution channels through platform integrations (Adobe, Canva, Notion, etc.), app marketplaces, and creator-focused SaaS ecosystems

- Explore and execute bundling, white-label, or API partnership opportunities with complementary AI toolchain providers

- Cultivate relationships with MCNs (Multi-Channel Networks), creator agencies, and talent management firms to drive creator acquisition at scale

3. Market Expansion

- Conduct in-depth market research to identify high-potential segments, verticals, and geographies for WorkSolo's international expansion

- Develop go-to-market strategies for new markets in collaboration with product, operations, and marketing teams

- Represent WorkSolo at industry conferences, trade shows, and creator economy events globally

4. Revenue & Growth

- Define and own BD-driven revenue targets; build business cases and financial models for major partnership proposals

- Track and report on partnership performance metrics; iterate on deal structures to maximize ROI

- Work closely with product teams to surface partner-driven feature requirements and integration priorities

Who We Look ForQualifications

- Over 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategic alliances at a tech, media, or AIGC platform company

- Proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals with measurable business impact

- Deep network within the global creator economy - including creator platforms, MCNs, talent agencies, media companies, and AI tool vendors

- Strong understanding of the AI creator tools landscape (Midjourney, Runway, Adobe Firefly, Canva AI, etc.) and creator platform ecosystems (YouTube, TikTok, Patreon, Twitch)

- Experience with SaaS partnerships, API integrations, or platform ecosystem development is a strong plus

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and executive presentation skills

- Comfortable navigating cross-cultural business environments; experience working with Chinese tech companies or HQ teams is a strong plus

- Excellent written and verbal English; Mandarin Chinese is a plus for HQ collaboration

- Self-starter; thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with high ownership and autonomy

US-California-Los AngelesThe expected base pay range for this position in the location(s) listed above is $102,200.00 to $191,400.00 per year. Actual pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Employees hired for this position may be eligible for a sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units, which will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Subject to the terms and conditions of the plans in effect, hired applicants are also eligible for medical, dental, vision, life and disability benefits, and participation in the Company's 401(k) plan. The Employee is also eligible for up to 15 to 25 days of vacation per year (depending on the employee's tenure), up to 13 days of holidays throughout the calendar year, and up to 10 days of paid sick leave per year. Your benefits may be adjusted to reflect your location, employment status, duration of employment with the company, and position level.
