Job description

Title: Marketing Intern

Reports To: Executive Director

Introduction

The North 24th Street Business Improvement District (BID) is a quasi-form of local government established to champion the economic development, infrastructure improvement, promotion and safety of the BID area driven by community collaboration. The North 24th Street BID Association (BID Association) is the nonprofit, operating arm of the BID which plans, funds, and implements projects and programs to fulfill the BIDโ€™s objectives.

Position Overview

The Marketing Intern supports marketing needs, designs marketing materials, works with team members to evaluate current marketing efforts and implements marketing strategies, while supporting the daily operations and administration of the organization.

Compensation

This is a flexible, part-time, internship requiring a minimum of 10 hours per week. Compensated at $18/hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The position includes, but is not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:

Implements the North 24th Street Business Improvement Districtโ€™s marketing plan

Supports communications across all platforms including print, digital and broadcast media

Assists with social media management and updates

Supports fundraising efforts

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills

College student or graduate studying Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or Business

A writing and design sample is requirednd community engagement initiatives. This role also involves coordinating with partners, gathering feedback from visitors and businesses, and reporting on marketing efforts to help refine strategies and drive measurable impact.
