Biweekly Hours: 16.00
Shift: 0730-1600,0800-1630,0830-1700

Summary:

Assists the Ophthalmologist in the Eye Clinic by collecting data, administering treatment ordered by an ophthalmologist, and supervising patients. Provides skilled ophthalmic care to patients, ages infant through adult. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications:
Required: High School graduate or GED equivalent Certification as an Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) by the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology One year work experience in an Ophthalmology Practice BLS Certification from the AHA Preferred: Skill in Photography including fluorescein angiography Physical Demands: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job related documents. Ability to use computer.
